The book is the first in a series of books called “Yes You Can!” books. They are childrens picture books, written in rhyme and designed to generate positive thoughts and attitudes in children at a very young age, so developing a very positive mindset, that will hopefully lead them to a rich and fulfilling life. Its aimed at 2 to 7 year olds and would be ideal for a bedtime story. However the buyers will be their mums, Dads, Uncles and Aunties etc.etc.

Hold On Tight! Is a lovely book about a young boy aged 7 who one day dreams of walking on the moon. He then sets about following his dream. However wherever he turns for help, his mum, dad and “the clever little girl nextdoor”. They all dismiss him as silly or they are too busy to help! Undaunted our young hero hatches a plan to build the tallest ladder in the land. But alas it’s just not tall enough! But with a little help from a new firey friend (A Dragon) he eventually lands on the moon!

On the last page the Dragon turns to him and says

“You made it to the moon, young man.

You made your dream come true.

Come nearer child, come close to me.

This lesson is for you:

Hold on to your dreams, my child,

Hold tight, come what may.

For the only dreams that can’t come true,

Are the ones you throw away.”
