1. No sex or lust of the flesh before marriage
2. Pray, read, have bible studies and go to church together
3. Talk about your future and make plans as to how it is to be accomplished together
4. Discuss the roles of the man and woman in relationships according to the word of God
5. Seek Godly counseling in preparation for your future together from your pastor or elders of the church
6. Discuss one another’s weaknesses, strengths, compatibility and expectations. Communication and helping one another is the key to your joint success
7. Learn where your partner is spiritually and what u can do to help them to grow in their personal walk with God
